A prayer for generosity
Jesus, I could never give like you did and do, but I want to give generously. Thank you for all the good and perfect gifts you provide for me, and for the opportunities to advance the gospel.
I pray that my church would be generous with its time, finances, talents and abilities. I pray that I will be generous with kindness, patience, and encouragement.
I desire to be a person who serves others well. I desire to serve because it’s a privilege to be part of your Kingdom work and because I care about others. I pray that a spirit of generosity would prevail both inside my church, and outside into the community
